The
incoming dry containers are fed through the unscrambler
suitably guided on the moving conveyor for the correct placement
of the vial below the filling wheel. This is also working
with the principle of vacuum and air. The main advantage
of this machine is to Single Track Double wheel powder filling
with Rubber stoppering machine. This machine consists of
two powder wheels having 12 filling port in each powder
wheel.
One Powder wheel is facing towards the Unscrambler and the
other power wheel is facing towards Rubber Stoppering unit.
The sterilized powder is stored in POWDER HOPPER which is
thoroughly agitated by a pair of mechanical agitator for
maintaining consistency and uniform bulk density . Powder
is directly coming from the powder canister which is fitted
on top of each Powder Hopper and flow of powder is controlled
by the Butter fly valve provided for each powder canister.
The powder wheel having 12 filling port in each wheel is
located at both side of the filling head, rotates at the
pre-determined speed below the powder hopper, practically
having no clearance, so that precise volume of powder is
sucked into the powder wheel port during vacuum.
The excess powder is doctored off by a doctor blade. When
powder wheel indexes further, the powder remains in the
port due to vacuum, till it reaches vertically above the
container. The time dose of compressed, sterilized, low
pressure air sequently flushes out powder from the port
of the powder wheel into the container. Due to Single TRACK
Double Output, each time first vial get filled in the first
filling port and moves further for next operation, by the
same time, the second vial also moves with the first vial
in empty condition. By the time, the second vial gets filled
in the second powder wheel, the first vial moves without
filling through the vial separator.
The empty port is further purged by the compressed air to
clean the port absolutely. The purged out powder is sucked
by the piping provided and get collected in the dust collector.
The sterilized, siliconized and dry rubber stoppers are
stored in the Rubber Stopper loading hopper and required
amount of stopper can be loaded to the vibratory bowl by
operating spring loaded lever. Rubber stopper reaches to
the exit end of the chute in right direction due to vibratory
rotational motion. The moving containers are held firmly
by two timing belts for correct pick up of Rubber stopper
from the exit end of the chute.
Further vial is passed beneath two PRESSING ROLLERS for
tight fit pressing of rubber stopper. Moving vials are then
transferred to the scrambler for next operation.
